Responsible Pharmacist with RA, QA and staff management experience

Biography:
In her current position, as a Regulatory Pharmacist Portfolio Leader for a well know local manufacturer, she is responsible for due diligence of new dossiers, compilations of dossiers, responses to SAHPRA, conversions of MRF1 to CTD dossiers, annual product reviews, change control reviews and new product development. Previously, she was employed as a RP and Regulatory manager for Hetero Drugs, where she was responsible to ensure the pharmacy adheres to legislation, due diligence of new dossiers, compilations of dossiers, responses to MCC, applying for NAPPI codes and SEP pricing, inspections of third-party suppliers and self-inspections, quality control and release of pharmaceutical stock, proof reading and approving artwork and advertising material. Before that, she was she was employed as a QA Pharmacist for B.Braun Medical, where she was responsible for Pharmacovigilance, ensuring GWP/GMP compliance, SOP compliance and review, staff training, inspections of third-party suppliers, finished product releases, management of deviations and investigations, and assist in the control of Section 21 products. She earned a B.Pharm degree from North West University and has partially completed her masters degree in Public Health (Management) at Pretoria University. She is a member of PSSA. She also served as Chair person of the North West branch of SAAHIP.

Responsible Pharmacist and Head of Regulatory with staff management experience
Located: Gauteng – Midrand

Biography:
She has been involved in Regulatory, Quality assurance and Pharmacovigilance for 19 years. In her current position at a multinational pharmaceutical company she is the Responsible pharmacist. She is a member and registered as the compliance officer at the MCA (Marketing Code Authority – a non-profit self-regulatory body) for her current organisation. She is the head of Regulatory affairs and manages and oversees the regulatory duties, covering new dossier submissions, registration approvals, post-registration amendments and control of the regulatory budget. She also manages and controls the quality systems and pharmacovigilance systems. Have recently been appointed to manage the pharmacovigilance for Mauritius, Senegal, Cameroon, Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso and Cote ‘D Ivoire. Previously, she served as a director/consultant at Regworks Consulting cc, where she was responsible for various regulatory activities from submission of new applications, post registration amendments, self-inspections, audits and licence applications for various multi-national pharmaceutical companies. Before that she was the Regulatory Affairs manager at Cipla Medpro, where she was responsible for establishing the Gauteng based regulatory department, implementing regulatory and quality systems and managing 4 employees. She earned a B. Pharm degree from the University of Witwatersrand and a Damelin diploma in Manager Development.

Biography:
She has been involved in Quality Assurance for ±20 years. In her current position, she is responsible for RA and QA. Her duties included implementing ISO Quality Management systems, conducting gap analysis, internal audits, providing training systems. Previously, she served as the QA Pharmacist at Litha Healthcare & Specpharm, where she set up the Pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems which included gap analysis, risk assessment, SOP review and product release. Before that, she was a Strategic QA Manager at Twinsaver (previously Nampak Tissue) where she was responsible for the management of new product introduction processes and ensuring that all supply chain activities were compliant. Her duties included setting up a Quality Assurance strategy, conducting due diligence on potential/approved suppliers, and providing regulatory expertise for new products. She also served as a Responsible Pharmacist for Biocide where she set up policies and procedures for the business, registration of medicines, and pharmacy compliance. She earned a B.Pharm from the University of the North, Management Advancement Programme from WBS, Total Quality Management from UNISA and a Supply Chain Diploma from CS Holdings (SAPICS) . She is a member of PSSA, SAPRAA and SAPICS. She is a Certified ISO 13485:2016 QMS Lead auditor which additionally gives her the certification to audit QMS system for medical device type facilities.

Biography:
She has been involved in Regulatory Affairs for 7 years and Quality Assurance for 17 years. In her current position, she is responsible for the companies Quality Assurance systems and Regulatory affairs. Her duties included management of the Quality Management system including SOP compilation and review, staff training, customer returns, complaints and recalls, validations, internal and external audits, initiation and review of change controls, deviations and CAPA. Previously, she served as Quality Assurance Manager and Responsible Pharmacist at Aspen Pharmacare, where she responsible for Quality Assurance and Regulatory affairs. Her duties included management of the Quality Management system including SOP compilation and review, staff training, customer returns, complaints and recalls, validations, internal and external audits, initiation and review of change controls, deviations and CAPA. Before that, she was a Quality System Manager at Aspen Pharmacare Outsource International division where she ensured the Quality Assurance Management Systems complied with International requirements. Her duties included managing the batch release of imported product into the South African Market, responsible for the ERP – BaaN Item Master, Bill of Material implementation, and maintenance and control of all QA related BaaN sessions. She earned a BPharm from the University of Port Elizabeth. She is a member of the SAPC and the PSSA.

Biography:
He has been involved in pharmaceutical quality systems for 10 years. He is an MD of a Consulting company, where he is responsible for designing and implementing quality management systems. His duties include staff training in GMP and GDP, validation of equipment and processes, preparation for site audits, and designing of warehouses. Previously, he served as Quality Manager at Fresenius Kabi Manufacturing, where he managed quality and GMP. Before that, he was a Responsible Pharmacist at Adcock Ingram Healthcare where he was responsible for regulatory compliance, implementation of SOPs, and staff training. Before that, he was a Senior Quality Manager at Qdot Pharma/ Parexel where he implemented a quality management system. Before that, he was the Quality Manager and Deputy Responsible Pharmacist at Aspen Pharmacare where he was a part of a team that introduced a system of managing all quality documents electronically. Before that he he was a Drug Information Pharmacist for Qualsa/Metropolitan Health where he reviewed formulary medicine applications. He earned a B.Pharm from Nelson Mandela University. He has also acquired a Postgraduate Diploma in HIV/AIDS, a Management Development Programme and is currently writing a Masters of Pharmacy thesis from Nelson Mandela University.
